Summary
The Practice Group Support Administrator for White Collar Defense and Government Investigations, based in the Washington D.C. office, provides a very high-level of administrative support to the Practice Group Leader and key billing attorneys in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, using extensive knowledge of practice group processes and goals.
Critical Success Factors
- Extensive knowledge of client base, scope of matters, resources required.
- Work closely with the Firm’s Litigation Technology team and vendors on project management.
- Ability to develop relationships with decisions makers at the client level, resulting in revenue enhancement for the Firm.
- Flexibility and willingness to follow up and follow through on partner requests outside the regular workday, due to the amount of international travel and fast-paced work schedule maintained by the practice group.
Responsibilities
- Assists partners with issues relating to client billing, invoices, and collections. Follows up on A/R when and as necessary to keep accounts current.
- Chases down information and keeps track of where billing and collections are.
- Monitors and helps keep the PGL on track and up to date regarding calendaring and travel.
- Ensures travelers have the equipment and coverage plans needed for a successful trip.
- Assists with ongoing client development efforts and initiatives, including client pitches and presentations (e.g., PowerPoint decks).
- Assists with e-Discovery Initiative, including knowledge of firm-qualified e-Discovery vendors and information repositories.
- Coordinates, assists in planning, and provides follow-up support to practice group meetings.
- Assists in maintaining inventory of new matters, current workload, and staffing assignments and communicating same to billing partners.
- Acts as a marketing, business development and operational resource to the White Collar practice group.
- Coordinates complex and fluid travel arrangements and keeps track of expenses for reimbursement and client billing.
- Maintains calendar of practice related organization activities and ensures participation in those organizations.

- Proficient in e-Discovery software as well as Elite, Office 2010.

Salary: $80,000.00-$100,000.00, dependent on experience
