Partner Recruiting Manager

About the role
As a Partner Recruiting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of partner recruiting for the Washington, D.C. office and supporting other U.S. offices with lateral partner hiring as necessary. Other key responsibilities include:
- Working closely with the Director of Partner Recruiting and firm leadership to support the firm’s strategy regarding lateral partner and counsel hiring in the Washington, D.C. office and other U.S. offices
- Implementing such strategy by means of market-mapping research, client-sourced intelligence, and external consultancies
- Managing the lateral partner and counsel recruiting process for the firm’s Washington, D.C. office and, as directed by the Director of Partner Recruiting, support certain lateral partner and counsel searches for other U.S. offices, as needed
- Ensuring effective communication and coordination with the Executive Committee and the Income Partner/Counsel Review Committee, as well as with senior administrative leadership, as appropriate
- Processing all applications and introductions of partner and counsel candidates, whether direct or through recruiting agencies, and ensuring that all materials are distributed, as appropriate, in a timely fashion to those at the firm involved in the candidate’s recruiting process
- Ensuring that conflicts questionnaires are distributed to partner and counsel candidates, completed and returned to the firm, and collaborating with the Conflicts department to facilitate the timely processing of conflicts information provided by partner candidates

And have:
- A Bachelor’s degree is required
- Management experience preferred
- A minimum of seven (7) years’ relevant experience at a professional services organization and/or legal experience at a professional services organization
