Summary
Premier, global, law firm is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist in the Firm’s Boston, New York, or Washington, DC office. Under the supervision of the Senior Marketing & Communications Manager, the Specialist will lead all efforts related to website management, social media content creation, and electronic and printed communications. The ideal candidate will be a team player, excellent communicator and creative individual with a detail-oriented approach, strong project management skills, and the ability to manage tight deadlines. S/he will also be able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and demonstrate a high level of professionalism when interacting with both internal and external parties. Responsibilities
Content
- Create and design marketing content for blog posts videos, podcasts, email newsletters, alerts and bulletins, infographics, landing pages, print ads and more.
- Execute on content campaigns to drive engagement with clients, prospective clients, and recruits across the Firm’s social media channels; create and manage content for Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram accounts.
- Gather and analyze metrics on the Firm’s social media KPIs and competitive landscape for quarterly and annual reports; proactively provide recommendations to marketing team for enhancement.
- Partner with team members on creation and dissemination of announcements for internal and external platforms.
- In collaboration with business development and other teams, create and deploy innovative social media campaigns; design infographics and images to complement social media posts.
Web
- Build and maintain responsive webpages using HTML and CSS/Sass, following best practices to ensure optimal SEO performance and cross-browser and device compatibility.
- Work within our WordPress content management system (CMS) to format content and configure functionality.
- Provide SEO analysis and strategies for content development and optimizing website structure.
- Collaborate with IT department and vendors to install, test, and implement software updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent.
- Strong experience with HTML and CSS, WordPress, Google Analytics and web optimization tools; working knowledge of offset printing and animating graphics; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite products (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver) and Outlook email coding a plus.
- Commitment to client service and quality.
- Strong organizational, communication and writing skills and a capacity to work comfortably in a rapidly changing environment on multiple, ongoing projects.
- Ability to work independently and with other members of the team.
- 4+ years of experience (legal marketing preferred), preferably with emphasis in communication.
