Recruiting Specialist

The Recruiting Specialist will provide support to the Operations Recruiting Director with all recruiting efforts for the Firm’s Operation’s Team. 

Responsibilities

  • Take the lead on all scheduling logistics for the team’s needs including the coordination of interviews
  • Conduct interviews and source candidates for open requisitions this role will manage
  • Assist with processing invoices and tracking recruiting costs
  • Assist with monthly reports
  • Partners with the Recruiting Coordinator to manage the applicant tracking system
  • Collaborates with the Recruiting Coordinator to manage the job description database within the applicant tracking system and monitor job postings from job boards and various professional sites
  • Build strong partnerships with recruiting agencies
  • Develop an understanding of recruiting compliance regulations by passing audits, drafting offer letters and initiating background investigations
  • Identify challenges and implement change to improve our workflow and manage departmental expectations
  • Assist with requisition tracking, report generation
  • Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a high-demand environment while demonstrating professionalism and good judgment
  • Impeccable attention to detail and organizational skills along with the ability to multi-task in a high volume fast paced environment
  • Passion for teamwork and collaboration, and positively contributing to the success of the Human Resources department

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Three to five years of professional experience is required
  • Prior demonstrated experience or an interest working in Recruitment or Human Resources
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to anticipate next steps
  • Superior communication skills verbal and written including strong attention to detail in all written work is required
  • Experience in an operational or administrative support role
  • Strong track record of growth and achievement
  • Experience with an ATS, preferably Taleo
  • Proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Highly motivated self-starter, strong work ethic, enthusiastic “can do” attitude and eagerness to take ownership of the job responsibilities
  • Excellent team player and comfortable working independently as well
