Job Description

Develop, implement, and evaluate programs that support the Firm’s professional development initiatives, including attorney training, attorney engagement, CLE administration, special projects and other related professional development programs. Provide key support to the Director, Professional Development & Attorney Training with an emphasis on ensuring that attorney CLE requirements are upheld. Guide and support junior team members in providing first-rate administration and functional support to attorneys and other clients. 

Primary Responsibilities and/or Essential Functions

  • Develop and coordinate a variety of attorney training programs and initiatives
  • Serve as  the primary CLE contact for the firm, including notifying attorneys of upcoming deadlines, communicating rule changes, and assisting with extension/modification requests and other CLE items as needed.
  • Coordinate materials and agenda for Professional Development Committee meetings.
  • Support the Director, Professional Development Committee, Attorney Programs and Resources Team and US office contacts to create and execute initiatives and programs that promote attorney engagement and development.
  • Serve as core member in the planning and execution of New Associate Orientation.
  • Serve as a mentor and advisor to the Professional Development assistant, consultants and interns.
  • Assist with special projects and collaborate with other firm departments as needed.
  • Any other responsibilities or special projects as assigned by management. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • 4+ years’ experience supporting and assisting with professional development programs for lawyers preferred, or experience in related areas of law firm administration.
  • Strong understanding of CLE administration is helpful; willingness to learn rules and procedures is essential.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
  • A demonstrated ability and strong desire to work as part of a team in a demanding, client-centered legal services environment while maintaining a positive outlook. 

Education/Certifications

  • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent work and educational experience.

Salary: $95,000.00-$125,000.00, dependent on experience
