A Global Investment Technology Firm group seeks an experienced professional to join its Legal & Compliance department and lead its Legal Administration function. The role provides broad exposure to the firm’s activities in a fast-paced, constantly evolving regulatory climate and offers the opportunity to work in an inclusive, collaborative, and engaging environment.
Your responsibilities will include preparing formation documents and filings for legal entities, managing relationships with legal service providers, supervising legal invoice processing, managing the firm’s legal entity information database, and responding to know-your-customer (KYC) requests from the firm’s business and banking counterparties. To assist with these duties, you’ll also oversee a small team of legal administrative professionals based in our Hyderabad office.
- Candidates should have an impressive record of academic and professional achievement and at least five years of legal administrative or similar experience at a law firm, asset management firm, hedge fund manager, or investment bank.
- Key attributes should include a collaborative mindset; demonstrated management skills; excellent analytical and communication abilities; an especially keen eye for detail; and an impressive work ethic.
- A bachelor’s degree or higher is required. Experience responding to KYC requests and/or forming legal entities is a decided plus.
While we anticipate some remote working flexibility in the interim, we expect that this position will ultimately be based out of our New York headquarters starting in January 2022 at the earliest.
Salary: $125,000.00-$150,000.00, dependent on experience
