Legal Personnel Assistant

Summary

The Legal Personnel Assistant will work with the Director of Legal Personnel and the Sr. Legal Personnel Manager to provide administrative support and assist with various legal personnel projects.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct attorney off-boarding and departure logistics.
  • Support the Director of Legal Personnel and Sr. Legal Personnel Manager with responding to industry survey requests.
  • Support the Director of Legal Personnel and Sr. Legal Personnel Manager with caregiver leaves and provide support with Bright Horizons benefit.
  • Support the Director of Legal Personnel and Sr. Legal Personnel Manager with morale events, gifting and other special events.
  • Support the Director of Legal Personnel and Sr. Legal Personnel Manager with the administrative aspects of supporting certain practice groups.
  • Support the Director of Legal Personnel and Sr. Legal Personnel Manager with upward review process administration.
  • Schedule and prepare materials for meetings.
  • Review and approve attorney expenses.
  • Assist the Legal Personnel Department with various other administrative duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an administrative assistant in a legal or corporate environment;
  • Proficient in Word and Excel. Lotus Notes and viEval a plus;
  • Proactive, energetic, hardworking team player;
  • Ability to collaborate with various departments throughout the firm;
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written;
  • Must have highly developed organizational abilities, with meticulous attention to detail;
  • Ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects, and to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment; and
  • Must possess a high degree of integrity and sense of confidentiality.

Salary: Competitive based on experience
