Summary

Premier, forward thinking, global, law firm is seeking a Shift Supervisor of the Duplicating and Imaging Department for their midtown, New York office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for staff scheduling and seamless transition between shifts and coordination of work with other departments
  • Monitor staff performance for timeliness, quality control and productivity
  • Responsible for the overall condition of the department and its hardware
  • Place all vendor service calls
  • Ensure procedures and guidelines are followed to meet shift deadlines in a timely manner
  • Monitor Copitrak to capture data for cost recovery
  • Attend all departmental meetings
  • Regularly host shift meetings with staff
  • Communicate all shift concerns with department Director
  • Provide workflow on large projects through shifts
  • Provide ongoing/formal training and direction
  • Stay current with all office equipment, software and their functions
  • Establish clarity on deadlines for large requests
  • Have overtime flexibility and the ability to cover other shifts as needed
  • Ability to stand long periods of time
  • Ability to lift and carry 50lb transfile boxes
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

  • Ability to communicate effectively, including memoranda, correspondence and reports
  • Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to diplomatically and tactfully deal with sensitive personnel issues
  • Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate and carry out instructions effectively from a diverse group of legal and non-legal personnel and provide information with courtesy and tact
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Ability to problem solve with prudent judgment and creative solutions
  • Must be resourceful 

Education and Experience

  • Associates Degree and 5+ years supervisory experience (or high school diploma/G.E.D. plus 10+ years supervisory experience) managing 10+ person team in a high-volume document duplication center environment

Working Conditions

  • Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature, etc.
  • Full C-19 Vaccination is required unless otherwise permitted by law
  • fully on-site role

Salary: $80,000.00-$90,000.00, dependent on experience
