Accounts Payable Coordinator

Summary
The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for on-boarding of all new vendors and for ensuring that all required documentation is up-to-date and accurate. This role will assist the Diversity & Inclusion and ESG teams in the administration of supplier programs. This role will also support the general Accounts Payable function.
Responsibilities
- Manage vendor on-boarding process, which includes making contact with prospective vendors, collecting on-boarding information, and ensuring that the Accounts Payable team has the proper information to input into the vendor master.
- Act as subject matter expert for the Prevalent on-boarding system by raising help desk tickets as needed and ensuring that the system is performing as expected.
- Work with the Diversity & Inclusion team to administer the firm’s Supplier Diversity Program.
- Prepare and submit Client required Diverse Vendor Spend reports quarterly.
- Monitor Vendor Inquiries mailbox and assist with resolution of queries.
- Reconcile vendor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
- Convert vendors that are paid by check or wire to ACH payments wherever possible. Verify vendor banking instructions and communicate changes to the Accounts Payable team as needed.
- Assist with processing of rush & other invoices as needed.
- Participate in special projects as needed.
Requirements
- Possesses excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Demonstrated ability to work confidently and collaboratively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Professional demeanor with strong communication skills.
- Proficient with technology tools and able to learn new applications.
- 3-5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role.
- 1-2 years at a law firm or professional services experience preferred.
- College degree preferred.
Salary
$65,000 – $75,000 and offers a competitive compensation and benefits packages. The firm considers a number of factors when determining compensation, including, but not limited to, education, years of experience, levels of experience, competency levels and other relevant skills and qualifications.
