Ex-Senator Lieberman Joins US Law Firm, Hopes to Boost Israeli Clientele

Former US Senator Joseph Lieberman has joined the New York office of law firm Kasowitz Benson Torres & Friedman LLP as senior counsel. The Democratic vice-presidential candidate in 2000, Senator Lieberman’s practice will focus on independent and internal investigations and advising clients on a wide range of public policy, strategic and regulatory issues.

He is also expected to play a significant role in client development globally, and in particular in Israel, where he is considered a strong supporter and warm friend. Senator Lieberman told “Globes,” “The firm has a number of Israel-based clients with significant business interests in the US. I believe that I will be of assistance to these clients and others in Israel in advising them with respect to their expansion initiatives and business plans for the US.”
